When running on DC power, the battery has a built-in battery charging protection that cuts off charging if the voltage is less than 10.2V to protect the car battery. Not least, the unit comes with a built-in lock to keep the door closed for those rough and bumpy rides. With its spacious interior, the fridge is no small fry in the storage department.
